Founder and Co-Owner
In less than a decade, Tap House Grill founder Scott Ward took his idea for a gastro-pub and turned it into a welcoming place that has been duplicated several times already. But his passion for the hospitality industry started long before Tap House Grill.
After college, Ward became a successful GM and DM for large chain, fast casual restaurants such as Wendy’s, Hardees, and Chi-Chi’s Tex-Mex Restaurants. In 1998, he transitioned from Multi Unit Operations Manager of Ala Carte Entertainment to the Chief Operating Officer of Bar Louie.
Scott’s more than three decades of restaurant management experience all led him to Tap House Grill, where he enjoys helping to create an inventive menu and celebrate craft beer.
Founder and Co-Owner
As partner of Tap House Grill, Mark Zych is responsible for the day-to-day operations, overseeing site selection, directing management and employee training. Prior to his contributions to Tap House Grill, Mark worked at Bubba Gump Shrimp where he quickly moved up the ladder from becoming Host Manager to General Manager, responsible for all operations of multi-million dollar company. He also spent several years as a General Manager and District Manager at Bar Louie.
With 20 plus years of restaurant experience, Mark finds himself orchestrating new and innovative sales programs. He takes pride in building successful management training programs through leadership development activities, as well as creating a positive work culture for his staff.
Franchise Director of THG Franchise Group
Tim Heavey joined the Tap House Grill team in 2015. Tim spent 7 years with Restaurants America as the director of operations, responsible for a multi concept, multi-million dollar company. He too, also spent several years at Bar Louie as a General Manager and franchise consultant. As Director of Operations of Tap House Grill, Tim Heavey is responsible for franchisee new store openings, overseeing franchise operations, compliance and supporting the franchisee.
